For teachers

Join the SVA Network

We have a big vision for singing education in Australia, and we want you to be part of it.

Let's be real - life as a performer and/or a studio teacher can be lonely. And in the midst of this loneliness, we can struggle to connect with colleagues and find mentors. It can be hard to know exactly how to run your business, and at times it can feel like a whole lot of effort for little reward. What's more, you have your own dreams for your singing performance, recording and songwriting work, but it's easy for them to get pushed to the side while you concentrate on your students.

We are about uniting singing teachers and providing you with a community where you can ask questions, share your wins and collaborate with like-minded people. We are also passionate about seeing you establishing a creative legacy by building your own singing career alongside your teaching work.

Having worked in the contemporary singing world for over 15 years, we know a thing or two about surviving and thriving, and we think it's important to share that knowledge and experience with other people. This is also the focus of Lauren's current postgraduate research, and we are so excited about the impact this research will have in the singing community. You can read more about Tim and Lauren here.

No matter where you're located, the SVA Network offers you teaching resources, advice, certification, continuing professional development (CPD), mentoring, AMEB / Rockschool Diploma support and access to our industry partners. What's more, we have an online teacher directory so that prospective students can find you, and we actively promote our SVA Network teachers through our social channels.

Interested? SVA Network membership is based on application and interview - we think it's important to get to know each other first to ensure a good fit all around. Drop us a line below to find out more details, pricing and next steps.
